Appendix A
In the book New Perspectives – The Internet, the section that stood out to me the most was the navigating web pages portion. This section really stuck out to me because it really helps beginners such as my grandmother who is not used to technology being a huge part of life currently. The book really dives into detail on how to navigate the web and what the indicators mean. The reload or refresh webpage is especially helpful when the web browser is having a difficult time loading the web page. What also helps is the fact that many web browsers are starting to improve the layout of their browsers and how the buttons work. All in all, I would recommend the book to my grandmother so that she may learn the basics of navigating the web and how web browsers work.
